Background

Here at the HKUST Business School, we recognize and support the importance of community service. The Community Services Project (SBMT2100) provides students the opportunity to work in teams with a Non-governmental Organization / Social Enterprise, i.e., Project Partner, and apply concepts, knowledge, skills and methodologies learned from business courses to specific, real-world issues. Join our efforts in making a positive impact by participating in this credit-bearing project!

Objective

  • To analyze organizational issues from various perspectives
  • To give and receive feedback on project performance from peers and project supervisors
  • To participate actively in team discussions, decision-making and presentations

Student Eligibility

Year 2 or above Full-time UG Business Students

The course SBMT 2100 Community Service Project is offered in Fall Term and Spring Term.
